Rome is approximately one and and a half hours northwest of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.
Rideshare and Shuttle Service from the Atlanta Airport
It is possible to get Lyft and Uber to Rome. The cost is usually around $150–$200. However, it's unlikely to get a rideshare from Rome back down to the airport. Likewise, Groome Transportation is a consistent shuttle service, but the drop-off locations are preset and not walkable from downtown Rome or any of our recommended hotels. It is plausible that you could get a rideshare to their pickup/dropoff location, but maybe not on Sunday morning, for example.
If you are able to drive, the best option would be to rent a car. And if you're renting a car, please consider letting other guests know by using this spreadsheet to arrange rides and split cost!
Please note that we will not be reserving hotel blocks, so it is best to make your reservations as soon as possible.
Barnsley is a luxury option that is best if you plan to have a car. It is closest to the reception, but further away from the ceremony.
Shuttle service to and from the reception will be provided from this location.

While travel by car is self-explanatory, if you're driving south and would like a more scenic route from Chattanooga to Rome that is not on I-75, you could drive through Chickamauga, LaFayette, Summerville, and then to Rome.
Parking will not be available at the reception, so please plan to leave your cars at your accommodation and take the shuttle after the ceremony from St. Peter's. You will be dropped off in downtown Rome at one of our two hotel pickup locations.
